Writing and Grammar class are so fun for me. Sometimes, I couldn't understand English, but it made me grow up. I learned how to write essay in writing class. When I was elementary school students, I'm good at composition. So, I want to can write essay of English. I must work still harder about essay, but I can write it before I come to U.S.A. Then, I could understand about the future perfect tense. I am bad at Grammar and I don't like the future perfect tense. But, Tamara  teaches us very kind. I think I can explain somebody now about the future perfect tense!

To tell the truth, I have a question. What's different thing "will" and "be + going to"?

I love Writing and Grammar classes.
BUT!
This classes have a lot of homework and quiz. It is hard for me to do. However, we can get new English knowledge. I hope next students have aspirations to study!! This is my advice.

Thank you

Give thanks to ....

Do you know “Thanks giving day”? Thanks  giving day is a holiday celebrated primarily in the United State and Canada. This holiday’s is the commemoration began with thank God that the first setters get the harvest. I was investigating about Thanks giving day. Has Japan it too?  When I investigated I learned something surprising! Japan has a Labor Thanksgiving Day. It is a national  holiday and takes place annually on November 23. Labor Thanks giving is celebrating Thanks giving in the U.S.A on the forth Thursday in November that same period. But,the timing and purpose of which issimilar accident. Labor Thanks giving is well versed in earned on Labor Day to Thanksgiving in the United States.

However, These has something in common with each one. It is  production celebrating. We have to give thanks to God and my parents, friends...everything. We too often forget to be thankful to live. There’s no way I could carry on living on my own. I need support the people and each ather need support too. I want ti do kindness everyone. If I am going to be a good daughter to my parents, I’ve got to do it while they’re still alive! I think Thanksgiving Day is express appreciation for your important person.

I will give thanks to my family, Debbie, Philip, Karen, Ayano, Tamara, Hajer, Nida...my important person!
Thank you all!

At in the beginning I don’t know how to scare the people. I was trying cry out , but they didn’t scare. I also was trying creep in on hands and knees, but they didn’t scare. I’m so sad. So, I became sleepy  a short tome. I’m sorry. Customers began to gather one after another and I became more and more interesting. Sometimes, they were surprised to see of me. I think my acting was so good. When a couple was coming, we force the two of them apart! That was so fun! Some people a scream piercing the dark night.

The windy city!

I went to Chicago a trip of four days and three nights from October 17 to the 20. Our university breaks up for the fall on the a week. My host mother’s Debbie was made a plan  during the fall beak for Karen, Ayano and me. But, Debbie have to go Italy for job with Philip. For that reason, we went to Chicago with Emma and Ramin.  They are one of Debbie’s acquaintance and they are trusted by Debbie. Early October 17 morning, we got up at 6:00 am. It was still dark at 6:00 in the morning. Then we took a megabus to Chicago. The megabus is a double-deck bus and we got on upstairs. That is a matter of course. To tell the truth, a seat was uncomfortable to sit on, because it was so hard and tiny. When I arrived at Chicago my buttocks hurts.Which isn’t  surprising, it took about five hours to arrive at Chicago.

We joined a “ Hop on Hop off” tour. It is great if you don’t know a city very well. Have 14 stops throughout the city. We bought a three day pass for a doubledecker and trolley company for about 35 dollars each. Chicago is called “the windy city”. I was surprised because Chicago was so cold. The wind was blowing so hard that I can hardly walk against it. I think we may freeze to death.

We had a Chicago style pizza. It was so good-tasting. Chicago style pizza is so deep, compared with St.Louis style pizza. We order the cheese pizza. It is soft and strong cheese and the gooey strings of cheese made the pizza. The taste of that cheese is such that even a Japanese will not be reluctant to eat it.
Chicago style pizza!

I think Chicago has symbolic of two bronze statue. One of statue is “ the Bean”. There is Millennium Park. “The Bean” is crowded with tourists. Most of the tourist who was  the chinese. The Bean is a so big silver bean. It is funny. Next statue is Marilyn Monroe. Do you know Marilyn Monroe? The statue express one scene from a movie. I don’t know the movie name. The scene is the wind blew up the Marilyn Monroe’s skirt and revealed her underpants. She put on underpants! I couldn’t look straight at her underpants, because I felt somewhat ashamed. Can you look straight it?

The Bean

I had a great time in the Chicago.
But, if I can go to the Chicago again,I will go to there in summer.

I don’t like the cold!

Challenge, challenge and challenge.

Life is a journey.

I’m staying in U.S.A for study abroad. This journey is a challenge for me, because It is the unknown world. Have you challenged the unknown world? I have been living for 19 years. In a span of 19 years has a big challenge a number of times. First challenge is perform a play on the stage. In the past, I lacked confidence in myself. I always lived from day to day to avoid embarrassment. I wonted to change myself. The challenge was changed my life. Why? I gain confidence. The theater is set aside personal feelings. Every time, they are mind on my role. Be under the glare of the spotlight, talk to the audience from the stage. It is so scary, but so fun.

Second challenge is this journey. Recently, I feel a bit down. I can’t understand English. How vexing! As s matter of fact, I wont to talk more in a class. But, I can’t it. My feel is irritating. Now, I feel strongly the necessity of knowledge of foreign languages.Surrounded by highly talented people, I was painfully made aware of my lack of ability. But I think this is a capital chance to emotional growth and develop as person. I will do my best.

I think it is hard for us rise to a challenge. That’s what we all have to live hard for. I want to do a rosy life.

Let’s enjoy the challenge and journey!

Thank you, my hero.

Hi!
Who do you imagine the hero? For example, BADMAN, Joan of Arc,Lady GAGA , Mother Theresa or your father. I think Everyone has a own image and hero.

Of course, I have my own hero.
My hero is ARASHI. May be, you knew about ARASHI. ARASHI is most  famous and popular idle group. They enjoy widespread popularity among young people.
Why do they have a hero for meBecause I was helped them.
The far past,I was bullied at school. It was a difficult time for me and I was cry in frustration.
But, I don't know what should do. I felt lonely everyday.
One day, When I was listening to music on the radio I heard a voice " you are a hero."
First , I thought The song was simply gloss over a mistake. but I noticed was crying.
I don't know the reason.

I think They are my hero.
It's all that.

The citizen is always my concern.

Hello! What’s up? A months have passed since I came to America. Time seems short when I’m enjoying myself.
Come to think of it , Japanese Prime Minister change again . Does the country have a future? When I heard that I can’t imagine the bright future in Japan.

I think even a simple problem can be hard to resolve when politics is involved. In my opinion, Japan politics’s most important thing is local politics. Now, local politics is harsh reality.
local view

First, Local politics have not money and  have a large debt. My home town too.In Japan, there is a subsidy system. Subsidies will be distributed to local, but now, Japan is in state of pecuniary embarrassment. So, It may be a subsidy but it’s just a pittance. For example, When I was a high school student I appeared  on the musical by a group of local residents. And we had to pay thirty -dollar for performance. Because a they had not operating expenses.By rights, we should get the subsidy for musical. It was a great strain on my resources. Second, national politics and local politics are very different. For instance,Local politics are many opportunities to express a resident opinion than national poitics. The citizen is always my concern. If I experience inconvenience I can say my opinion to a local government.
How? By a telephone, e-mail or directly! My grandmother had a very black crow to pluck with the operation of a circuit bus service. She said “ The interval between buses are too long!” . My home town, If you miss the train, there isn’t another one for two hours. At the request of local residents, the regional bus company began revising its routes.

On the basis of actual circumstances, Our suspicions of national run very deep.
I think the politicians are not interested in the ordinary citizen. But, Natinal should be always with the people.Local politics are affected by that case. Now, Depopulation is increasing. Many young people go to the city because the local is a monotonous life.

city view

I want to curb depopulation but I don’t know what I should do. As a single citizen in Japan, I want to force to my country.  I think a step toward revitalize a local economic is to work in local. I’m working to in my home town.We should send out a massage of local to the world.

Tomoe in WonderAmerican

Hello♪ Recently, the weather has gradually become cool. It’s a pretty day!! I can see the clouds of the autumn.Summer is over. The long summer has finally ended. I’m so happy!! Why? Because I love fall!!!! How about you?

America has very interesting food. A few nights ago,I had a Creame Brulle. My host mother’s Debbie made it for me. It’s really really really good!! It’s a melt-in-your-mouth softness.I have never eaten Cream Brulle before. I love it!!!!
Debbie is a good at cooking. I want to teach how to cook Cream Brulle to her. If so,When I will go back to Japan,I can boast about Cream brulle to my family!!!!

I had a imo’s pizza too. When I had a imos’pizza first time,I was a suprised and emotioned. Because the pizza is very thin. Usually, The end of a pizza is  burly and little hard. So, It is chewy. But the imo’s pizza is “thin” and crispiness and so delicious! Moreover,it is cheap! The imo’s oizza is a powerful friend of the common mas.Thank you very much.

And,I go often Starbukcs with Karen and Ayano. They are my friends. It is difficult for me to order in English, but I would do my best.

In the long run, American food is high calorie♥
What I really felt slipped out.... :)

Thank you for reading.

Different thing

Hello♪
What's up? Me?? I'm fine♥ Thank you:)

Time had passed without us realizing it.When did we arrive in America? “Three weeks ago!!” This is a”Time is money”.
I was suprised to a class time in Webster University,Because it is fifty minute!!! I’m so happy♪ In Japan, class lenght a University is ninty minute. I had a hard time of it.Sometimes we able to eat and drink, but it is of no consequnse for me.In my opinion, 90 minute is a living hell. Moreover,Person 30 minutes or more late will be considered absent! ・・・Hey!How about America? That’s ok.Why? Because Tamara is so kind!!

Tomoe,Tamara,Karen,Ayano

I like meal plan.  Meal plan is very convenience . Who’s idea? That’s good idea! There are some pizza and salad, dessert ,coke. We can choose anything I like. But,Japan is nothing the meal plan.My friends will bring lunch box to school every time. Other people will eat a student dining hall or buy a convenience store. So,Japanese student dining hall is tiresome, because we pick up articles and examine them one by one.

I have the scales fall from my eyes!!

I am in the U.S.A now!!!

Hello♪ It’s a nice day, isn’t  it? I like sunny day!

Tomoe and Debbie

So,Do you know me? I'm Tomoe Oshima from Japan.I am now studying abroad in Webster University,U.S.A. I want to speak English well!!
I live with a host family in St.Louis.I have a new mother and new father, new brother! My new mother name is Debbie. She is so kind. One day, she bought a miso soup because I’m a Japanese. My new father name is Philip. He is so funny!! Always,he said an older man’s attempt at humor. For example, one morning,he said “The light is very dim in here.”but,I don’t think so. The room is  bright! Then,he said “Oh,I am putting on sunglasses!”

I love drama and musical. I belong to drama club in Japan. A drama and musical made me sad, angry, worry and happy.I want to learn about drama and musical in Webster University.
I’m a big fan of ARASHI!!! Do you know ARASHI? ARASHI is most popular and famous star in Japan. They are made up of 5 people. I think if you meet them, you will probably fall in love.

This is my first visit to America.I thought it was a very exciting country. There’re so many places I want to go and see; America is a big big place.
American people is so kind.Every time, they said me “Tomoe! How are you?”. I was surprised, but I was so glad. The most surprising thing to come to America is restroom. Because the door is short! In Japan, the restroom door is long and completely hidden to foot. I think the restroom is a private room.
So,the short door is queer for me. I feel uneasy about If I am looked through a crevice. But! This is America.I respond to American culture!

America is so fun! I love America❤
Thank you.
